The Petty Home, a turn-of-the-century Queen Anne, is being fully restored by Miles Honeycutt. Miles is the same general contracter who oversaw restoration of the Clapp-Ferguson home and Winston's Broken House, both in the Cleveland-Holloway neighborhood. Miles is restoring the home in keeping with historic elements of the original house to a single family dwelling. Check back often and watch this great home come back to life.

Light in the attic

Emon got the beams reinforced and the flooring put in for the attic. There's going to be tons of storage space up there since it covers basically the whole right side of the house.

Attic stairs ready for installation. It will be interesting to see how we get these down considering the ceilings are 10 1/2 feet tall but pashaw....details.

Attic flooring from below in the front bedroom.

Attic at attic level. See the light in the attic? Get it?

All the mantels are back up and waiting for dry wall and tile work.

  1. I see an attic filled with holiday items, craft ideas, and maybe even a drum set or not...
